Closer still...

But not yet. They are going to try to hold me until tomorrow or maybe even Thursday for the trigger shot. My follicles are measuring between 16 and 19, with the cyst leading the pack at 24. They didn't say anything about my uterine lining, but it is at the same place it was last time we triggered. I hope it continues to thicken.

I have to say - I'm hoping for a trigger tomorrow so that Michael can be here for the embryo transfer. If we trigger tomorrow, the transfer will likely be Monday. Any later than that and he will have to head back down south. My step-mom, Cindy kindly offered to let me come stay with them for the bedrest part if Michael can't be here. If that happens, Michael and I will BOTH be temporarily living with our parents - ha!

So, I go back tomorrow again. The nurse said - you poor thing, we're seeing you every day! Ah well. It's all for a good cause.

My doctor was there again today. I told him he gave me a fright last week telling me we might have to convert. He said that it looked like my ovaries had "just blossomed" - which cracked me up. He looked confused and said, "I wasn't kidding." Gotta love doctors and their senses of humor. He thinks there are 6 follicles plus the cyst, which is less than the 8 we got last time, but I'm not going to worry about it. I'm just happy we aren't converting to IUI or cancelling this cycle.

On a side note, I want to congratulate my friend Dave & his wife Jenn on the birth of their 2nd son this past weekend. Sounds like everyone is healthy and happy after a bit of a scare. So - congrats, you guys!

I hope the timing works out so your DH can still be around for the ET!

((hugs))
