Relief

The transfer went well. We kept looking at each other saying things like, "surely they wouldn't have brought us back here if it was bad news...". It turned out to be good news. Dare I say great news? I'm scared to use a word as positive as that because statistics are still against us.

Our embryo had divided into 6 cells with minimal fragmentation. It was a Grade 1 embryo - which is the best you can have. Plus, I don't think we've had one that good before. The doctor said that when they checked it first thing this morning, it was only 5 cells - so it even grew in the few hours between that check and the transfer.

So I feel relief and hope. Hope that things turn out differently this time. Thank you all for all of your thoughts and prayers - they've definitely carried us through a lot of this. Keep them coming!

wow, i'm sorry i'm so late to all of these happenings. i am SO HAPPY to hear that your embryo was awesome quality - that is the BEST news!!! try to "enjoy" bed rest...and i'll be checking like a maniac for any symptoms or HPTs and, of course, beta results.
