Sorry for the Negative Nellie post Friday. I was struggling! The one side effect I thought I was avoiding came to visit me Saturday night - heartburn. Good thing I didn't have anything to do Sunday because I was up most of the night. Fun, fun! I also realized that between the hot flashes and night sweats from Clomid and all these side effects from the estrogen / progesterone combo - I can truly empathize with all the ladies at work going through menopause! Freakin' hormones.
I'm doing alright today. Of course, I'm noticing every little twinge and trying not to think anything of it. But - in the back of my head I'm wondering... I hate that.
I heard from the doctor this morning, and none of the remaining embryos made it to the stage where they can freeze them. So, no freezer babies for us. Hopefully, this cycle will work and we won't even need freezer babies. The doctor was sure to note that the fact that those embryos didn't survive doesn't mean the ones we transferred won't work. Guess that confirms that we transferred the "right" ones!
