The IUI took a grand total of about 45 seconds, as usual. We had more good sperm this time than we've ever had - 39 million. I just wish my eggs were up to par.
But, nothing we can do about that, so we just hope for the best while still figuring out what to do for the next IVF. The doc is going to call me Tuesday 2/2 after he presents our case to the panel. Even though I didn't go through IVF, I think I'm still going to cut out the high impact exercise until my pregnancy test. Guess I should cut back on the food intake too, huh? If I keep eating like I'm running AND add in the progesterone, I'm sure to balloon up in no time. ;-)
My pregnancy test is on Friday, 2/13. The day before my sister's baby shower. When I was scheduling the test I noticed it was on Friday the 13th and made some comment about it not boding well. The nurse said that didn't apply to me. Oh, how I wish it worked that way...

About This Blog - I began this blog to have one place to inform friends and family about our fertility treatments. Eventually, I expanded it to others I met on-line who were struggling too. About Us - We've been trying to have a baby since May 2005 and are considered to have "unexplained infertility". The only test that has ever come back abnormal on either of us diagnosed me with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis - which all the doctors say is not impacting my fertility. We have been through 4 unsuccessful Clomid cycles, 3 unsuccessful IUIs with injectables, three unsuccessful IVF attempts and one IVF cycle converted to an IUI, also unsuccessful. We have reached the end of the road.
This is my space to share our struggles with you and to try to keep my perspective on the whole thing. Thanks for reading.

I am seriously superstitious about dates and what not. I think I would have puked to find out my test date was Friday the 13th. I wish this would work for you. I hate the waiting and the stress, and that my dear friends have to wait and stress too. I will keep you in my thoughts.
I'll hope for the best right along with you. 2/13 is my mom's birthday so it can't be an all-bad day. I'm sure she wouldn't mind sharing some of her birthday mojo with your prospective embryos. :)

hey in Italy the bad really bad super bad day is Fri 17th, the 13th is just another normal day...so for this time I suggest we are all Italians OK? I am talking to those eggs and spermies and embryo in forming and all....you guys, please come on....give us this surprise we have been waiting for!
